🌐 Web Version (No Install) Just open your browser and play: 🔗 https://coder787-source.github.io/OmniChess/ Works on any device. No download, no setup.

🪟 Windows 10/11 (x86-64 & ARM64)

  1. Install Python from python.org — check "Add Python to PATH" during setup
  2. Download the matching Stockfish binary from stockfishchess.org
  3. Place Stockfish in the same folder as the OmniChess script
  4. Rename the Stockfish binary to match the STOCKFISH_PATH variable inside the script
  5. Open a terminal and run: 
pip install pygame python-chess python OmniChess-Windows10-11-x86-64.py

🐧 Linux x86-64

  1. Install dependencies: 
sudo apt install fonts-symbola pip3 install pygame python-chess --break-system-packages
  1. Download the Linux x86-64 Stockfish binary from stockfishchess.org
  2. Rename it to match the STOCKFISH_PATH variable inside the script
  3. Run: 
python3 OmniChess-Linux-x86_64.py

🐧 Linux ARM / Raspberry Pi Easiest method — Snap Store: 

snap install omnichess-coder787

Or use the auto installer: 

wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Coder787-source/OmniChess/main/install.sh | bash

⏱ Stockfish compilation may take 3–30 minutes depending on your Pi model.

🍎 macOS (Apple Silicon & Intel)

  1. Install Python and dependencies: 
pip3 install pygame python-chess
  1. Download the matching Stockfish binary from stockfishchess.org
  2. Remove the quarantine flag: 
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine stockfish-macos-* chmod +x stockfish-macos-*
  1. If macOS still blocks it, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Allow Anyway
  2. Run: 
python3 OmniChess-MacOS-ARM.py

(replace with Intel script if on Intel Mac)
